& Colleague: In continuation of the first
Circular, I feel privileged to invite you in the 3rd Session of the Haryana
History Congress organized by School of Humanities, Starex University, NH - 48,
Binola, P.O. Bhorakalan, Gurugram, Haryana on 20 - 21th October 2018 and
funded by Indian Council of Historical Research, New Delhi. Eminent
personalities, renowned social scientists, teachers & scholars are likely
to participate. It gives me profound pleasure in extending you and yours
friends of different disciplines who are interested in any aspect related to the History and Culture of Haryana a cordial invitation to participate in
the deliberations at Starex University, NH - 48, Binola, P.O. Bhorakalan,
Gurugram.
About
the University: The Starex University,
Gurugram has been conceptualized under the provisions of Haryana Private
Universities (Amendment) Act 2016. The Starex University is set on approx 40
acres of well maintained land, equipped with all modern amenities. The
university campus is sprawled across immense lush green stretch on Delhi -
Jaipur Highway, NH-48. The high-tech Millennium city, Gurugram is a milestone

Ø Dr. B. R. Mani, Director General, National
Museum & Vice Chancellor, National Museum Institute, New Delhi will
deliver the valedictory address in the session.
IMPORTANT POINTS:
1. Only members of Haryana History Congress can become the
delegates of the 3rd Session.
2. Accommodation at Starex University, Gurugram will be
provided from the afternoon of 19 Oct., 2018 to noon of 21 Oct., 2018.
3. Accommodation will be provided only to those participants
who confirm their stay up to 15 October, 2018 positively.
4. Accommodation will be provided only to members of HHC and
not to accompanying non-members.
5. Transport
facility will be provided to the delegates from afternoon of 19 October, 2018
at the end of the conference from local bus stand and railway station to the
venue.

SUBMISSION OF PAPER
Delegates
can submit their papers by Email- haryanahistorycongress@gmail.com These should be typed in Times New Roman font using single space
14 points for the title and 12 points for general matter and Kurti Dev 10 in Hindi 16 Points for
title and 14 for text. PPT facility will also be provided for presentation.
Participants have to submit one soft copy of their paper along with a hard
copy.

FEE
The
Delegation fee is Rs. 500/- and the annual membership fee Rs. 300/-(Compulsory) while life membership is Rs. 2500/- which
can be submitted through DD/Cash/Net Banking/etc. in favor of Haryana History

Charkhi Dadri (Haryana). It is also paid in cash during the
conference on 20-21th October, 2018.

Our
reception counter will be active from afternoon of 19 October, 2018 till noon

will be our guest during the session so all meals beginning with dinner of 19 October
2018 up to dinner of 21 October, 2018 will be provided at venue by us.
HOW
TO REACH STAREX UNIVERSITY
Starex University, NH - 48, Binola, P.O. Bhorakalan, Gurugram is
well connected both by road and Rail from
Delhi and Rewari. It is situated at National Highway 48, near old toll and is
located about 30 kms west of Gurugram, 7 kms north from Bilaspur and 22
kms from Pataudi Railway Station. Buses for Gurugram will be available from all
the major cities such as Delhi, Jaipur, Rohtak, Rewari, etc. Trains will also available on Rewari
–Pataudi Road - Delhi Track.

& Archaeology, Chaudhay Ranbir Singh University, Jind on 24-25th
November 2017 and funded by Indian Council of Historical Research, New Delhi.
Eminent personalities, renowned social scientists, teachers & scholars are
likely to participate. It gives me profound pleasure in extending you and yours
friends of different disciplines who are interested in any aspect related to the History and Culture of Haryana a cordial invitation to participate in
the deliberations at Chaudhay Ranbir Singh University, Jind.
About the University: Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind, was established by the State Legislature Act 28 of 2014 on July
24, 2014. It has a spreading Campus of 75 acres situated nearly 2 kilometers
away from Jind-Gohana and Jind-Rohtak Bypass. At the initial stage, it was
started as a Post Graduate Regional Center by Kurukshetra in 2007. Aim of the University is the cultivation
of citizens with a rich awareness of our heritage to lead and serve in every
sphere of human activity.
The University is affiliated u/s 2(f)
of the UGC Act, 1956 vide letter no. 9-12/2014(CPP-I/PU) Dated 26 September,
2014 and is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities. In
addition, the team of UGC will visit on 17-18 July, 2017 to inspect the
requirement of 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956.
To enhance the research activities
for the holistic development of the students and researchers, the University
has organized 02 International Seminar, 03 National Seminars and 02 National
Workshops. In addition to the academics, the students are also encouraged to
participate in sports events and extracurricular activities at the campus as
well as outside the campus to enable their wholesome personality development.
About the Department of
History, Culture & Archaeology: The Department of History, Culture and
Archaeology has been set up in the year 2014 with the aim to impart the
education of history to the interested young generation. The Department also
lays emphasis on the multidisciplinary approach for the better understanding of
society and realizing mutual coexistence. It also marks a departure from the
traditional teaching and understanding of the concerned subject by bringing
qualitative shift in its curricula, teaching methodology and perception
development in the realm of knowledge gain.
The
Department provides M.A. Degree in Indian History, Culture & Archaeology
with 50 students each in M.A. (Previous & Final year). The subjects taught
at M.A. Level include specialized study of Archaeology, Ancient History,
Medieval History and Modern History.
